The Paradise Preparatory School on July 2, 2019 launched the 50th Anniversary celebrations during the Kindergarten Three Promotional exercise held at the United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands in Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland. Chairman of the function was Mrs. Christine Smith, a past parent of the school. Guest Speaker, Mrs Novlin Leslie-little applauded the institution on such a spectacular milestone.
Mr. Osmond Clarke, Board Chairman of the institution for over 25 years, was also in attendance giving greetings. The Manager, Mrs. Keisha Chaplin spoke with pride when she mentioned the school being her alma mater. Mrs. Dehaney, Principal, who has also been at the school for over 20 years boasted about gaining 100% in their Early Childhood inspection. It was indeed a wonderful occasion and the start of many more to come.
Paradise Preparatory School has developed a successful educational model, serving middle and high income students in Westmoreland for fifty (50) years. High expectations are set for students by aiming at securing acceptance into the secondary school of their first choice. Overtime this has been the trend as the majority, (between 80 – 100%) of the students have achieved this position
